Brush & Paint prints your own painted figure or artwork, or places a painted miniature in a new scene that you see free before you pay.

Who runs it
Brush & Paint is run by Craig Fearn, a UK sole trader, and this is its US storefront: prices are in US dollars and orders ship to US addresses. Craig writes the guides, builds the free tools (the fantasy name generator and its elf, orc, town and tavern versions, and the miniature scale converter) and email sent to hello@brushandpaint.com reaches him directly. The UK store, brushandpaint.co.uk, takes UK orders.
The store exists for one kind of customer: someone who spent evenings on a commander, a warband or a whole army, and wants it somewhere other than a shelf. It also serves artists who want a drawing or painting printed without handing it to a marketplace.
Two ways to order
Print it as it is. Upload a photo of your painted figure, your army or your artwork, choose a product, and that file is what prints. It is cropped to the shape of the size you pick and nothing else changes. Start at Print your artwork.
Create a scene. For a photo of a single painted miniature, Create a scene removes the display base and stands the figure in one of five settings: Woodland Path, Paintwork Portrait, Hero Portrait, Into Battle or The Tavern. You verify your email, get up to three free watermarked previews a day, and approve the exact picture and framing before you can buy it.

How each order is checked
Every size is graded against your file before you can choose it. At 300 dpi or more a size is marked sharpest, from 140 to 300 dpi it prints well, and under 140 dpi it cannot be selected, so a size you can pick is one your file can carry. You see the crop for the size you choose before you pay, and checkout will not take a scene you have not approved.
Twelve formats are on offer: art prints, framed prints, canvas, framed canvas, metal, wood and acrylic panels, T-shirts and hoodies, mugs, water bottles, tote bags and a digital file. Each is made to order by our print partner and shipped to your US address, with shipping calculated at checkout. Payment goes through Stripe.
What we won't do
We won't print a scene you haven't approved. We won't use your photo for anything except your preview and your order, and uploads that are not ordered are deleted after 30 days. We don't sell licensed logos or official game art, and Brush & Paint is not affiliated with Games Workshop or Wizards of the Coast. Every upload asks you to confirm the image is yours to print or that you have permission.
If an order arrives damaged or with a print fault, we reprint or refund it at our cost. Each piece is made from your own image, so change-of-mind returns are not offered once production starts; shipping and returns has the detail.
The guides
The guides start from questions painters and players ask: how to paint miniatures, making a wet palette, photographing a finished figure so it prints well, and the gift pages for D&D players and Warhammer players. If something in one of them is wrong or out of date, write to hello@brushandpaint.com and say which page.
