Prepare your image

Use the original file, not a screenshot. Sizes at 300 dpi or more are graded Sharpest; 140–300 dpi prints well; under 140 dpi a size cannot be chosen. Keep faces and lettering away from the edges. Prepare your artwork

Custom acrylic prints of your own artwork or painted miniature, on a 4 mm panel that gives color a glossy depth.

Why choose custom acrylic prints

Your image on a 4 mm acrylic panel, in 12 × 12 or 16 × 20 inches. The smooth surface suits bold colors, clean shapes and artwork you want to make a focal point. The rectangular size supports portrait or landscape. Check the crop and leave space around important edge details.

Square or rectangle: picking the acrylic size

There are two acrylic panels, and they want different crops.

The square panel

A square suits a bust, a mounted hero seen side on, or a figure with a wide stance and spread wings. Shoot with space on all four sides, then crop to a square on your phone before uploading, so you decide what goes.

The rectangle

The larger panel works upright or on its side. Upright suits a single standing model. On its side, it suits a squad line-up, or a figure placed in a setting through Create a scene.

Shine on the model, shine on the panel

The face is glossy, and the 4 mm clear edge takes on the picture’s colors. Gloss varnish on a figure shows up in a photo as bright spots, and the panel adds its own shine on top. A matte-varnished model, or diffused light from both sides, gives a cleaner result. Hang it where a window won’t face it straight on.

Want the same figure without the gloss? The metal print has a matte surface.

Placing an acrylic panel in the room

Pick the wall before the size. The square panel suits a narrow spot beside a bookcase or above a hobby desk, where a single bust reads well at arm’s length. The larger rectangle carries a squad or a scene from across the room. Because the face reflects, a panel opposite a lamp or a bright doorway shows that light on top of your figure, so stand in the spot at the time of day you use the room most before you choose it.

How a painted figure prints on acrylic

The glossy acrylic front deepens dark tones and makes highlights pop, which suits a figure with strong edge highlighting. Shoot without glare on the model itself, because the panel adds its own shine. A square crop works on the 12 x 12 inch size.

Start with the image

Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. You must own the image or have permission to reproduce it. Your original artwork can go straight to the product selector, unchanged. If you start with a painted miniature, the optional scene studio lets you explore a different setting first.

Check before you order

The selector shows available sizes, finishes, and USD prices, and checks your image resolution. Pick a product to inspect the crop. Compare every size and price, or read our file preparation notes.
