Print art on metal: your artwork or painted figure on a rigid metal panel, a crisp home for graphic work, strong silhouettes and saturated color.
When to print art on metal
A rigid metal panel makes a crisp, contemporary home for graphic artwork. Check your image at its final crop, especially the corners. Saturated compositions and strong silhouettes offer a different feel here than a soft, paper-based presentation.

Getting a figure photo ready for metal
The panel is 1/8 in (3 mm) aluminum, printed edge to edge, so there’s no border to hide a messy edge in your photo. Three things to do before you upload:
- Clean the backdrop. Dust and stray brush hairs print right to the panel’s edge.
- Pick the shape first. The 11.8 x 15.7 in (30x40 cm) panel is a 3 to 4 shape, the 15.7 x 19.7 in (40x50 cm) is 4 to 5, and the 19.7 x 27.6 in (50x70 cm) is 5 to 7. A photo taken at your phone’s 3 to 4 setting fits the smallest size with almost no trim.
- Keep the base well above the bottom edge of the crop, since nothing beyond the crop survives.

Where each size sits
The 11.8 x 15.7 in (30x40 cm) panel suits the wall above a hobby desk or beside a display cabinet. The 15.7 x 19.7 in (40x50 cm) is the one pictured above a bed. The 19.7 x 27.6 in (50x70 cm) is a centerpiece for a games room.
Metal, acrylic or wood
The metal surface is matte and white-coated, so a window opposite the wall throws less reflection than it would on the glossy face of acrylic. If you’d like the grain to come through the pale parts, look at wood.
How a painted figure prints on metal
Metal makes saturated schemes look even brighter: power armor, glowing runes and object source lighting all hold their punch. A figure shot on black card gives the cleanest result, because the dark background frames the model and keeps the panel looking sleek.
Start with the image
Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. You must own the image or have permission to reproduce it. Your original artwork can go straight to the product selector, unchanged. If you start with a painted miniature, the optional scene studio lets you explore a different setting first.
Check before you order
The selector shows available sizes, finishes, and USD prices, and checks your image resolution. Pick a product to inspect the crop. Compare every size and price, or read our file preparation notes.

Made for you
Our print partner produces your selected product to order. The product image shows example artwork; yours is printed from your own file. Your finished item uses the image and crop you select. Read shipping and returns before placing your order.
